Rustic details met elegant touches during Shannon & Ryan’s summer wedding at Foggy Mountain Lodge on July 1. In keeping with the elegant look Shannon desired, we combined classic white silk roses with exotic dendrobium orchids in beautiful blue, rich purple, and vibrant violet-blue colors for bouquets that were truly stunning. Check out Shannon’s exquisite bridal bouquet, complete with a small photo frame charm that held a special picture of a loved one.
Ryan matched Shannon’s flowers with his boutonniere that highlighted a single silk white rose and a baby blue dendrobium orchid. We wrapped it in a charcoal ribbon to match his vest.

The couple’s bridesmaids carried identical bouquets to Shannon’s with stems wrapped in a silver ribbon. Black lace was added over that to complement the lace of the bridesmaid dresses. A thin row of rhinestones at the bottom of the lace added a sparkle of sophistication. The groomsmen alternated boutonniere colors between pale blue and royal purple, the same shades of dendrobium orchids used in the bouquets, and paired them with a simple silk white rose to pull together a cohesive bridal party look.
Congratulations, Shannon & Ryan! You were such an easy-going couple, and we thank you for choosing us to be a part of your day. We wish you many happy, healthy years together!
